Like many, the pandemic profoundly changed me. That time offered a fresh perspective on life and prompted me to prioritize my own aspirations over outside opinions. I discovered that blogging and an excess of digital work only weighed me down and dampened my spirits. While nursing taught me invaluable lessons about preventative care, I realized it wasn’t my true calling. Embracing what I genuinely define as happiness, I ventured into the culinary world, working as an assistant chef in local establishments. Those experiences strengthened my confidence in the kitchen and inspired me to explore the full extent of my potential.
Enter granola. To be honest, I’d been refining my granola recipe for years—always chasing perfection. The thought lingered: “Maybe I could sell this granola stuff someday.” With the right catalyst and a bit of courage, I took the leap. As the pandemic eased and community life returned, I began packaging my carefully crafted granola. Sharing it with colleagues and at local markets, the response was overwhelming! People genuinely loved it, and demand grew quickly, with many placing repeat orders right away.
Today, I’m so proud to say that Living Smart Granola continues to earn glowing reviews and incredible support. Thank you to everyone for the encouragement, kindness, and enthusiasm. Our town and community are filled with the most amazing people—thank you to New Hope, PA! My family and I are beyond grateful for every request to share our delicious granola creations with the wonderful people of Bucks County, PA.
